6 Great Tips to Keep Pipes From Freezing

There are only water supply pipes to worry about in New Braunfels, not drainage pipes. Typically, the diameter of water pipes is not larger than 1 inch. A standard drain pipe is 1 1/2 inches and larger and usually made of plastic. In contrast to water pipes, drain pipes do not hold water and cannot be pressurized like them, so we are not at risk of them freezing inside.

Cold temperatures can cause water pipes to freeze.
